A man from Saskatchewan is going on a journey to Mexico...on his wheelchair.

Born in Regina, Warren Schlosser is 60 years old and has been in a wheelchair for the last 10 years.

Schlosser started the Wheelchair Awareness Trek on July 1st when he left from Calgary

He decided to make the 5200km trek to Mazatlan, Mexico to inspire people and raise awareness for those with disabilities.

"I'm just showing people that even if you end up crippled or have disabilities or even getting old.. there's generally good people out there and thats what I want to show."

Schlosser wheels near 40km a day and expects to arrive in Mazatlan on December 17th.
