The Moose Jaw Warriors annual Teddy Bear Toss was a success on and off the ice on Saturday night.

The game opened with 10-year-old accordion player Billy Bi singing the national anthem and it didn't take long for the Warriors to strike first and the teddy bears to hit the ice. The teddy bears, toys, and toques that were tossed onto the ice when the Warriors scored were donated to the Salvation Army and will help families in need this Christmas. Three trucks were filled to capacity with donations from the fans in attendance.

The Warriors went on to defeat the Swift Current Broncos 4-2 and will be back on home ice on Tuesday to take on the Saskatoon Blades.
