The Moose Jaw U13A Ice have concluded round-robin play  with a 1-2 record at the Canadian Regional Softball Championships in Victoria. 

The Ice got off to a great start at the tournament with a dominating 13-3 over Team Quebec on Friday afternoon. 

Following their big win against Quebec, the Ice ran into a hot Alberta team that held them to only one run, losing 3-1 in a pitchers dual.

On Saturday, Moose Jaw faced off against the host BC team, and were shutout 6-0 to finish the round robin play with a 1-2 record.

Moose Jaw will take part in a tournament skills competition on Saturday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. CST.

The Ice will look forward to the semi-finals that begin on Sunday. The Ice will get a rematch against Team BC on Sunday in semi-finals at 2:00 p.m. CST, with the finals scheduled for 5:00 p.m. CST. 

If the Ice win the tournament they will represent Canada at the Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, N.C., beginning August 9.
