Tourism Saskatchewan has teamed up with the Ministry of Agriculture to host the second formal gathering of local chefs and food producers in Saskatoon. It's a day of networking and discussion to bring more locally produced food to restaurant menus.

This weekend Saskatchewan chefs and food producers are sharing their individual perspectives about the potential to bring more of Saskatchewan's bounty to restaurant consumers. Discussions will include the challenges and opportunities of this growing market sector.

“Tourism Saskatchewan is delighted by the success of Local Bounty: Farmer-Chef Connection,” says
Dr. Lynda Haverstock, President & CEO. “It is a pleasure, once again, to join with our partners in hosting this ‘delicious’ event in Saskatoon. Given Saskatchewan’s role as one of the world’s foremost food producers and the growing interest in culinary tourism, there is significant potential for development of this industry. Needless to say, we have countless reasons to celebrate the unique and tantalizing flavours of our province. Bon appétit!”
