The Prince Albert Raiders are the Moose Jaw Warrior's next opponent as they will be at the Moose Jaw Events Centre on Friday night for the team's Truth and Reconciliation game. Following Friday's game, the Warriors will be travelling east to Manitoba on Saturday for a date with the Brandon Wheat Kings. Catch all the action live on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors, James Gallo. 

Moose Jaw's Winmar AAA Warriors will look to build on their 2-0 start last weekend, as they host the Tisdale Trojans at the Moose Jaw Events Centre on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. The action is seen live on IKS Live and tickets can be purchased at Sasktik.ca. On Sunday, the team will head north to Saskatoon for their first matchup with the Contacts. 

In boys high school volleyball action last night it was Peacock over Cornerstone 3-1, Central blanked Avonlea 3-0, and Vanier took down Assiniboia 3-0. In girl's action, Briercrest won over Notre Dame 3-1. 

The Peacock Tornadoes look to improve to 4-1 this weekend as they are hosting the undefeated Yorkton Raiders in football action on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m., followed by Vanier hosting Estevan at 3:15 p.m.. Central will have the weekend off as they have the bye and will be back on Oct. 8 against Yorkton. 

CFL action returns on Friday night as the Saskatchewan Roughriders travel to Winnipeg for some revenge against the Blue Bombers at 6:00 p.m. 

And the Toronto Blue Jays were on the wrong side of a 5-2 loss on Tuesday night to the New York Yankees. The series finale goes on Wednesday at the Rogers Centre.
