They're the talk of the town this week.  Moose Jaw's U-15 Warriors Hockey Club are finalists in the 2022 Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup. The focus this season has been on making hockey more inclusive and the local team went above and beyond this winter, welcoming newcomers to the rink in partnership with the local Multicultural Council. The U-11 Blackhawks celebrated a city championship last night, beating the Wolfpack 7-4. The 'Hawks went undefeated in the post-season. Bennet Karst, Deklan Street and Quinn Roberts scored 2 goals apiece last night. Taylor Usher scored two for the Wolfpack. The championship is the 5th of the season for the Blackhawks. They won 4 tournament titles this season as well.

Western Hockey League action, the Swift Current Broncos beat Regina Pats 5-3. Raphael Pelletier scored twice for the winners. Connor Bedard tickled the twine twice for the Pats, giving him 43 goals on the season. 

Also, Winnipeg Ice were 3-2 winners in Prince Albert last night.

Dates have been set for the semi-finals in the U-18 Triple "A" Hockey League. The Regina Pat Canadians and Notre Dame Hounds will open their best-of-five Sunday afternoon in Wilcox - game time 3 o'clock.

NHL....San Jose surprised the Flames in Calgary 4-3. Edmonton Oilers dropped a 5-3 decision in Dallas and the Winnipeg Jets keeping their playoff hopes alive with a big 4-0 win over the Vegas Golden Knights.

Grapefruit League baseball, the Blue Jays are 4 and 1 after a 9-2 win over the Yankees.
