The Moose Jaw Miller Express forced a third game in the Western Canadian baseball league finals after they won against the Okotoks Dawgs 3 to 1 in last nights game. 

Nate Mensik started the millers off strong with with a home run hit in the second inning and then took another run in the 6th as well as as Austin Gurney who sealed the deal with a third run.

The boys are currently in Okotoks getting ready to play for that championship title.

Looking at girl's fastball the Moose Jaw U17A Ice have kicked off the national championship splitting their first two games.

The girls fell to BC 7 nothing in their opener but came back with 9 to nothing victory for their second game yesterday against PEI.

In the 24-team tournament, the girls are playing two Ontario teams today and they're hosting Quebec tomorrow.

The Riders are getting ready to rock Mosaic Stadium tomorrow as they host BC Lions.

In the World Juniors last night, Canada had a swift win of 6 to 3 over Switzerland. Upcoming games are to be determined.

In national baseball action, the blue jays overtook the orioles again with a victory of 6 to 1 yesterday. The jays are back on the field today facing off with the New York Yankees.
