The Moose Jaw Warriors will look to pick up their first win at the Moose Jaw Events Centre on Friday night as they will host the Prince Albert Raiders for their Truth and Reconciliation game at 7:00 p.m. The Warriors took a split last weekend against the Regina Pats with the road team winning each game. All the coverage can be found on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors James Gallo. 

Moose Jaw's Winmar AAA Warriors will look to stay perfect this weekend as they host the Tisdale Trojans on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. and then hit the road to Saskatoon for the first time this season to take on the Contacts on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. 

The U15 and U18 AA Warriors kick off their seasons this weekend. The U15 AAs will host the Regina Aces on Saturday at 5:30 p.m., while the U18 AAs will take on the Regina Rangers at the Moose Jaw Events Centre at 3:30 p.m. 

The top four male and female golfers from the Prairie South School Division took part in Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association provincial golf action over the weekend in Jackfish Lake. The boys' teams took home bronze consisting of Hudson Heistad from Avonlea, Davin Karst of Assiniboia, Eric Woodley from Central Collegiate, and Carter Bartlett of Coronach. Karst also picked up a bronze in the Individual Male Category. 

The girl's team consisted of Jordan Eger (Coronach), Harper Berner (Assiniboia), Shelby Schnell (Coronach) and Callie Callaghan (Avonlea).  Winners of the Tournament were Ella Kozak of Yorkton shooting 10-Under and Max Reiger (+2) of Walter Murray Saskatoon. 

Moose Jaw high school football returns to the gridiron on Saturday afternoon at Guthridge field. At 1, the Peacock Tornadoes host the Yorkton Raiders, followed by the Vanier Vikings hosting Estevan at 3:15. Central will have the bye this week and be back at home on OCT 8 against Yorkton.

CFL action returns on Friday night as the Saskatchewan Roughriders travel to Winnipeg for some revenge against the Blue Bombers at 6:00 p.m. 

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a walk-off single on Monday night to secure the 3-2 win for the Blue Jays over the New York Yankees. The two teams continue their three-game series on Tuesday at the Rogers Centre.
