The Moose Jaw Warriors traded 20-year-old forward Riley Ginnell to the Regina Pats on Monday in exchange for a 5th-round draft pick in 2026. In 14 games this season Ginnell picked up a goal and two assists. With Ginnell's departure, the Warriors are all stocked up on 20-year-olds with defenseman Cole Jordan, forward Ryder Korczak, and goaltender Connor Ungar. 

Staying with the Warriors, Moose Jaw will open a seven-game, 14-day road trip on Wednesday in Prince George to kick off their BC division road swing against the Cougars. This is the first time the Warriors have made the trip to northern BC since January 22, 2019, where they pulled out a 3-2 overtime win. James Gallo will have all the action for you on Country 100 at 8:45 p.m. CDT, with puck drop slated for 9:00 p.m. 

Moose Jaw's WINMAR AAA Warriors will look to move up in the standings on Tuesday, as they travel to Swift Current for a date with the Legionnaires at the Innovation Plex. The puck drop is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. 

The Moose Jaw U15 AA Warrior's three-game win streak was snapped on Monday in a 7-3 loss to the Swift Current Broncos at the Red Knight Arena. They are off to Winnipeg this weekend for the Winnipeg Jets AAA Classic. 

And it was a busy night in the NHL on Monday night. On the road Edmonton lost 5-2 to New Jersey, the Flames got past Philadelphia 5-2, the Maple Leafs lost 3-2 in extra time to the Islanders, Winnipeg was winners in overtime 3-2 against Carolina, the Canucks lost a close one 5-4 to Vegas, and Ottawa lost a 5-1 decision to San Jose. 

In the NFL Monday nighter, the San Francisco 49ers took down Arizona 38-10.
