For the second consecutive spring, the Winnipeg ICE and Moose Jaw Warriors will meet in the Second Round of the WHL Playoffs. It was made official on Monday night after the Saskatoon Blades took down the Regina Pats 4-1 on home ice in Game 7. The two teams met six times in the regular season with each team winning three of those games 

Winnipeg will hold home-ice advantage in the second-round series, with Games 1 & 2 getting going on Friday and Saturday in the Manitoba capital. The series will switch back to Moose Jaw on April 18th and 19th. You can catch all the second-round coverage on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors James Gallo on the call. 

Tickets are available to purchase for the second round at the Moose Jaw Events Centre or the Warriors front office. 

Over to the NHL on Monday, Toronto took down Florida in overtime 2-1, Ottawa got past Carolina 3-2, Winnipeg rolled to a 6-2 win over San Jose, the Flames fell 3-2 to Nashville in a shootout, and Vancouver was blanked 3-0 by the Kings.

And the Toronto Blue Jays will finally play in front of their home fans for the first time this season. The Jays open up their regular season home schedule on Tuesday, as they host the Detroit Tigers for a three-game set.
