The Moose Jaw Warriors will hit the ice for their third game of the Western Hockey League season on Friday night at the Moose Jaw Events Centre as they host the Prince Albert Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Friday's game will also be the team's Truth and Reconciliation game. All the action will be live on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors James Gallo. 

Then on Saturday night, the Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors will be back at the Moose Jaw Events Centre to host the Tisdale Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Those interested in going can buy tickets at Sasktix.ca or watch all the action on IKS Live. The Warriors will be hitting the road on Sunday to Saskatoon to take on the Contacts. 

The Moose Jaw Curling Centre will be rocking on Saturday night, as the Moose Jaw & District Sports Hall of Fame will be hosting their 2022 induction ceremony. This year they will a total of 13 inductions for 2020, 2021, and 2022 so it's going to be a big event. The festivities get rolling at 5:30 p.m. 

Moose Jaw high school football returns to the gridiron on Saturday as the Peacock Tornadoes host the undefeated Yorkton Raiders at 1:00 p.m., followed by the Vanier Vikings hosting Estevan at 3:15 p.m.. Central will get the bye this week and will be back on the field on Oct. 8 against Yorkton. 

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are on the road on Friday night in Winnipeg with a date with the Blue Bombers at 6:00 p.m. 

And history was made on Wednesday at the Rogers Centre. Yankees Star Aaron Judge hits his 61st home run of the year to tie Roger Maris's American League home run record in an 8-3 win over Blue Jays. The Jays will start a weekend series with the Boston Red Sox on Friday.
