Fans were treated to an entertaining game on Wednesday night at the Hangar as the Moose Jaw Warriors edged out the Saskatoon Blades 3-1. Goaltender Connor Ungar made 40 saves in the win and was named the game's first star. 

"It's hard to not feel pretty good about yourself after getting peppered like that and you're able to come away with the win, it feels really good," says Ungar in an interview with James Gallo following Wednesday's win.

The Warriors are back on home ice on Saturday night as they host the high-octane Winnipeg Ice at 7:00 p.m. The voice of the Warriors James Gallo will have all the live play-by-play coverage on Country 100

Keeping with the Warriors, Moose Jaw's AAA squad is preparing for their fourth home game of the season as they are hosting the Prince Albert Mintos on Saturday afternoon at the Moose Jaw Events Centre. The Winmar Warrior comes into Saturday's affair with a 2-1-0-1 record and sits fourth in the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League. 

From the ice to the gridiron...Moose Jaw's high school football teams are in action on Saturday at Gutheridge field. The Peacock Tornadoes will host Weyburn at 1:00 p.m. and then at 3:15 p.m., it will be the Central Cyclones hosting the unbeaten Yorkton Raiders. 

CFL Friday night football action returns as the Saskatchewan Roughriders will travel east to Hamilton to take on the Tiger Cats with a 5:30 kick-off. 

In the NFL's Thursday nighter, it's the Colts traveling to Denver for a date with the Broncos. 

And the Toronto Blue finished off their regular season in a doubleheader against Baltimore on Wednesday. After losing the first game 5-4, the Jays came back and won the second game 5-1 to take the series win. Toronto will host the Seattle Mariners in game one of the American League Wildcard Series on Friday afternoon.
