Team Canada came up short last night against Team USA, falling by a score of 3-0 at the 2023 World Para Ice Hockey Championships. The Americans finished round-robin play on top of Group A with a 3-0 record, while Canada finished in second with a 2-1 record. Brody Roybal opened the scoring for the U.S. at 9:49 of the second period beating Canadian netminder Dominic Larocque. 

Earlier in the day, Italy moved into second place in Group B with a 3-1 win over Norway.

China improved its record to 3-0 on Wednesday with a 7-0 win over Germany in Group B action.

Today is an off day at the 2023 World Para Ice Hockey Championships before quarterfinal action begins tomorrow.

In lacrosse action, the U11 Moose Jaw Mustangs 2 fell to the Weyburn Thrashers 3-2 last night. 

Over on the links at the Hillcrest Golf Clun, Matt Maltais took out his driver on their par 4 - hole 15, teed up from the blue tees, took the shot, carried his ball 422 yards, and dropped it in the hole for an ACE!

In the majors, the Brewers tied their series with the Toronto Blue Jays with a 4-2 win last night. The Brewers and Jays play the final game of their series this morning at 11:07.
