The Moose Jaw Warriors came up just short on Wednesday night losing their second straight one-goal game, as they dropped a 4-3 decision in a shootout to the Red Deer Rebels. Atley Calvert, Jagger Firkus, and Ryder Korczak were the goal scorers in the loss.

"They had to earn every inch out there tonight, it was tight checking for the most part, and both goalies played well. In the end, it was a skills competition. Both teams had looks in the 3-on-3 to win it and it was a back-and-forth game but hard-fought as well."

Moose Jaw was only able to pick up one point on their two-game Alberta road swing but will be back on Friday night on home ice to face the US Division's Portland Winterhawks at 7:00 p.m. Catch all the action on Country 100.
