The Moose Jaw Warriors scored three unanswered goals to come back from two two-goal deficits in the third period and win 5-4 in overtime over the Giants in Vancouver on Wednesday night. Ryder Korczak scored the game-winner for his fourth goal of the season, 2:41 into the extra period. 

The Warriors have now won four straight on their B.C. Division road as they prepare to begin making their way back to the east with games in Red Deer (Saturday) and Calgary (Sunday) this weekend.

The fun doesn't stop there folks, as the Moose Jaw WINMAR AAA Warriors would also have some overtime magic on Wednesday night in Outlook. Liam Fitzpatrick would score with 18 seconds left in overtime to lead the Warriors to a 6-5 overtime win over the Saskatoon Blazers. 

"I was just busting back, as hard as I could," says Fitzpatrick following Wednesday night's game. "I saw the puck come back to the corner and I saw an open lane, then I picked it up and the adrenaline kicked in and I was skating as hard as I could and then pulled it to the backhand and it barely went in."

Moose Jaw will travel to Prince Albert this weekend for a two-game set with the Mintos. 

The Moose Jaw U18 AA Warriors are in action on Thursday as they travel to Notre Dame to take on the Argos in Wilcox at 8:30 p.m. and then are back on Sunday against the Swift Current Broncos at the Bert Hunt at 12:30 p.m. 

In the NHL last night The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Sharks 3-1, Ottawa dropped a 3-1 decision to the New York Rangers, and Edmonton outlasted Chicago 5-4.

And Canada gets set to play their final FIFA World Cup game in Qatar on Thursday morning as they take on 1-1 Morocco at 9:00 a.m.
