It was a battle between Moose Jaw products Jasmine Kohl and Brooklym Nimegeers at the 2023 Esso Cup in Prince Albert on Wednesday night. Kohl picked up an assist, as her Northern Bears fell 5-2 to Nimegeers and the Regina Rebels. Regina improved to 2-2 and the Bears dropped to 0-4. Both teams will wrap up their round-robin play on Thursday. 

The Moose Jaw WINMAR AAA Warriors will be hosting their spring camp on Thursday at the Moose Jaw Jaw Events Centre. A total of 62 players will be attending the two-day camp, which runs until Friday afternoon. The camp features a mix of returning players, with the others looking to earn themselves a spot on next year's team. 

In the Western Hockey League, the Saskatoon Blades will travel to the Manitoba capital on Thursday and get set for their Eastern Conference Final against the Winnipeg ICE, which kicks off on Friday night. Out west Kamloops will travel south to Seattle for their respective final, which starts on Saturday. 

Moose Jaw's 18U AAA Canucks baseball team kicks off the Best of the West Spring Classic on Thursday morning in Kamloops, BC. They will take on the host Kamloops River Dogs on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. MT. You can find their full schedule HERE.
