What a finish in Regina on Sunday night for the 109th Grey Cup. A blocked field goal late in the game sealed the Grey Cup win for Toronto, as the Argonauts won their first Grey Cup since 2017, defeating the two-time defending champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers 24-23. 

It was a very successful weekend for the Moose Jaw Warriors as they swept the Swift Current Broncos in a home-and-home series. Things got rolling on Friday night in Moose Jaw as the Warriors were able to fend off a late-game push and walk away with a 5-4 win. Saturday was a different story in Swift Current, as Moose Jaw's Connor Ungar made 33 saves for his first shutout of the season and helped his team skate to a 6-0 win over the Broncos. Moose Jaw has headed west and will begin their BC Division road trip on Wednesday in Prince George against the Cougars at 9:00 a.m. CDT.

The Moose Jaw WINMAR Warriors had the weekend off but will head west to Swift Current on Tuesday to take on the third-place Legionnaires at the Innovation Plex at 8:00 p.m. Catch all the action on the team's Facebook page. 

Moose Jaw's U15 AA Warriors are on a little bit of a heater after taking both games this past weekend. On Friday, in Yorkton, they beat the Terriers 4-1 and then were 4-2 winners in Estevan on Saturday. They have now extended their win streak to three in a row and won four of their last five games. 

Six Canadian squads will take to the ice on Monday night in NHL action. Calgary heads to Philadelphia to take on the Flyers, Edmonton kicks off a three-game road trip against New Jersey, Winnipeg plays host to Carolina, the Maple Leafs welcome the Islanders to Toronto, Ottawa takes on the Sharks in San Jose and the Canucks host Vegas in Vancouver.
