Environment Canada telling us that the "Snowfall Warning" that covered most of south-west and south central Saskatchewan has been lifted.

A snowfall warning has been lifted for South-West and South-Central Saskatchewan. The "Snowfall Watch" that was in effect for Assiniboia, Regina and the southeast corner of the province was also lifted. We could receive another 5cm of snow overnight as another system of moisture moves through from Montana.

Right now travel is not recommended on Highway 11 between Bethune and Davidson as those roads are ice covered. There is a travel not recommended advisory in effect for Maple Creek, Shaunavon, and Swift Current on Highways 1 and 4.

Icy conditions with reduced visibility are plaguing motorists on nearly every roadway in southern Saskatchewan. If you see something others should know about give us a call at 693-NEWS.

Environment Canada expects conditions to improve overnight.
