It's a problem that needs to be addressed once and for all.

The Saskatchewan Party along with a couple hundred frustrated Saskatchewan residents have issued a challenge to Premier Lorne Calvert to drive some of the worst roads in our province to see how bad they really are.

Highways Critic Randy Weeks gathered the invitations from Saskatchewan residents and passed them along to the Premier. "The government is sitting on a mountain of cash. They have let the roads and highways deteriorate to such a sorry state but this situation of the roads and highways in Saskatchewan didn't develop in the last year. This government has been in power for 16 years and we think its about time there has to be some priorities made."

One of the highways highlighted was #32 from Swift Current to Leader. A highway Weekes says ambulances won't travel to get to patients because the conditions are so bad.
