The Melfort RCMP have released an update on the dangerous persons alert issued on Sunday morning.

They say that there are multiple victims in multiple locations including the James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon.

Early indications by the RCMP show that the attacks on the victims may be random. 

STARS Air Ambulance reported on Twitter that they were dispatched to three scene call emergencies at James Smith Creek Nation and one inter-facility transfer in Melfort.

The Melfort RCMP issued a dangerous persons alert after multiple stabbings on James Smith Cree Nation.

The suspects are Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson. Damien is 5-foot-7, 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Myles is 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police believe they could be in a black Nissan Rogue with Saskatchewan license plate 119 MPI.

They warned people in the area to use caution when allowing people into their residence, not to leave a secure location, not to approach the suspects, and not to pick up hitchhikers.
