The government of Saskatchewan announced 9 new cases of COVID-19 in the province, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 104.

6 of those 104 individuals have been hospitalized, with 2 being admitted into the ICU.

Some other stats provided by the province;

  • All but 6 of the cases are travel related.
  • 4 cases are individuals 19 years old or younger
  • 49 are in the 20-44 age range
  • 33 are in the 45-64 range
  • And 18 cases have been confirmed in the 65-plus range.
  • Three people in the province have recovered from the virus, although that number could vary as there may be more cases of recovery not reported to Public Health.

And after the ability to conduct and confirm testing for COVID-19 at the Roy Ramonow Provincial Laboratory in Saskatchewan was announced on Sunday, 7,580 tests have been conducted.
