The expectations are high for the Moose Jaw Warriors heading into a new season after claiming a franchise first Eastern Conference Championship title.

A few important spots could be up for grabs this weekend at Moose Jaw Warrior Camp.

The next few days should give the coaching staff an idea of who to bring in to help replace the likes of Troy Brouwer, Dustin Boyd and Blair Jones.

Warriors' Head Coach Steve Young tells us its going to be tough. "We believe that it’s an important camp. There’s no question that last year was a successful season for us and we want to carry that into this year. I believe to make it successful the guys have to realize and understand that it is a new season and if you ever want to repeat what you've done you have to work harder so I'm interested to see how the veterans worked over the summer and the guys trying to make the hockey club how hard they've worked as well."

The Tribe currently has 80 players planing to attend the training camp this weekend with the number of players expected to be 40 for Tuesday night's Black and White game at the Civic Centre starting at 7 o'clock.
