Today, the public was invited to share their thoughts on developing the City of Moose Jaw’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

Program Supervisor, Nicole Walchuk, shared more on the goal for the Parks and Recreation Department.

“We’re looking for feedback on the Parks and Recreation Master Plan that will help shape the next 10 years of our department, as well as Parks and Recreation throughout the city.”

Master Plans are long-term planning documents that provide guidance for future growth and development.

They also require updates as a community, and Moose Jaw’s Master Plan was last updated over forty years ago.

Finalizations for the plan will take place in October.

If you have any questions regarding the Master Plan, please contact Derek Blais at dblais@moosejaw.ca, or 306-694-4466.
