We are getting reports of a multi-vehicle pile-up and collision on Highway 1 eastbound, just 13 km out from Moose Jaw before the Belle Plain bypass.

Police are on the scene and the road is closed, but a local detour has been put in place, so delays are expected.

We received a call from a listener, Dave, who was traveling to Regina.

"There was a jackknife semi-like blocking like almost everything but the trouble lane and I managed to be one of the last vehicles to go through and I actually saw a little car get rear-ended by another semi. By the time I turned around, there were two semis that had hit each other like rear-ended," he told us.

Discover Moose Jaw was able to get in touch with Bonnie-Lee Copeman Bender, who was in the small car that got rear-ended by the semi. You can hear her audio below:

There is debris on the road.
