The Board of Moose Jaw Pride released a statement on social media that they currently do not have an executive director.

In a letter posted on their Facebook page Thursday afternoon, the board said that, as of Aug. 3, Taylor Carlson is no longer employed with the organization.

Carlson has been the executive director at Moose Jaw Pride since September of 2019.

The letter did not state a reason for Carlson’s departure but said “As Taylor Carlson is no longer an employee for Moose Jaw Pride, they are no longer authorized to act on behalf of Moose Jaw Pride. Any projects, programs, events, or consultations that Taylor was involved in will be handled by Members of the Board of Moose Jaw Pride Inc. for the foreseeable future.”

Discover Moose Jaw reached out to find out if the organization was seeking a new executive director. We were told they are not seeking anyone at this time and that the executive director's duties will be handled at the board level.
