It looks like Saskatchewan has gained an ally in the fight against Ottawa's Carbon Tax.

Manitoba has announced they are seeking legal opinions on whether or not they can challenge the Federally Imposed Carbon Tax, arguing that it might be against the constitution.

Premier Brad Wall has been a staunch opponent of the tax, saying it will have detrimental effects on the economy, specifically the agriculture sector.

Wall has said that Saskatchewan is willing to fight Ottawa in court over the plan.
