If we don't get some significant rain and soon, there could be some serious problems this fall for local producers.

June is a very important month for crop development and rain is a key factor. This year, the rain just hasn't been there. Just 42mm of the wet stuff has fallen on Moose Jaw and when you compare that to last year when we had 70mm of rain during the month of June, the picture becomes a bit more clear.

There is a chance of some significant moisture Friday as Environment Canada calls for 25mm of rain for the Moose Jaw area. But then again, they called for significant rain on Tuesday and it missed us completely.
