Josephine (Josie) Hindley passed away peacefully with family and loved ones by her side on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her husband William Hindley; daughter Ruth Hoehn; brothers Raymond, Lyle and Wes Parks; sisters Hazel, Nora and Dorothy. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Lynda (Calvin) Dovell; dear friend Reinhold Tress; son-in-law Oscar Hoehn; brothers Cecil and Gordon; sisters Patricia Gardener, Maxine Hallborg and Darlene Beaudin; grandchildren Sharon (Glen) Palmer, Wally (Becky) Hoehn, Holly (Don) Matt, Kathy (Alfred) Stiefel, Heather (Steve) McLellan, Terry (Marina) Dovell; great-grandchildren Quintin, Orin, Alissa, Spencer, Emily, Carston, Jennifer, Faye, Adam, Christopher, Kimberley, Andrew, Roberta, Pamela, Thomas, Erin, Calvin, Kelsey; and many great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Josie’s life carried her from Parkbeg to Whitewood then Moose Jaw, throughout which she worked long, hard hours in the service industry, cleaning and with homecare. She was a strong and independent woman with a passion and talent for crocheting. Her family will be comforted for many years to come by the beautiful afghans she created.
