According to the Ministry of Highways, Highway 19 north of Central Butte is expected to reopen Wednesday night.
The highway was closed in mid-April from the Highway 42 junction to Highway 367 after an early spring thaw washed out a second of the road making it undrivable.
At the time, a detour was in place on Highway 367 from Eyebrow to Bridgeford that connected to Highway 19 to allow traffic to continue to flow north.
