The severe weather has passed.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the R.M. of Stonehenge including Limerick and Congress and for the R.M. of Wood River including Lafleche Woodrow and Melaval.

Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to toonie size hail and heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is located 5 km west and 10 km north of Wood Mountain and is moving to the northeast at 20 km/h.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Large hail can damage property and cause injury.

Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
