Fire crews responded to a house fire in the 1200 block of Brown Street Monday morning.

"There was a fire in the structure, it appears to be contained to up in the attic roof space," said Moose Jaw Fire Chief Rod Montgomery. "I believe the fire is under control at this time and the crews got a quick knock on the fire and they seem to have it under control. Things are looking well."

Montgomery noted that the fire was contained to the single house.

Initial reports are that there were no injuries and that no one was home at the time of the fire.

The cause is still under investigation.
