The NHL has just announced late Thursday morning that they are suspending their regular season due to concerns over the spread of novel Coronavirus, joining the NBA and other major sports organizations.

Closer to home, the Saskatchewan Rush have announced Thursday that they and the rest of the National Lacrosse league are suspending play, also temporarily until further notice.

The WHL is meeting Thursday with the other CHL organizations to determine the steps forward. As of Thursday morning, the season is still going continuing. 

The CFL announced ther plans for regional combines in the next couple of weeks have been cancelled. Major League Baseball is meeting Thursday to determine their steps forward as well. 

Two players on the NBA's Utah Jazz have tested positive for the virus, and the Toronto Raptors, and their coaches and players, have been advised to go into self-isolation for 14 days.

Major League Soccer has also announced that they have suspended their season for 30 days.
