The City of Moose Jaw released an advisory for continued construction under the 2022 Water Main Replacement Program.

The construction continues at these locations:

1 st Ave NW – Caribou St. W to Laurier St. : Construction is ongoing between Caribou St. and Saskatchewan St. The Oxford St., Ross St. and Hall St. intersections are closed, while Saskatchewan St. intersection remains open. Caribou St. intersection is open to traffic.

Grandview St W – 6 th Ave SW to 10th Ave SW: Effective August 6, water main replacement on Grandview St. from 6th Ave SW – 10th Ave SW is complete.

Main St S – Home St. to Iroquois St: Construction is ongoing from Home St. to Elsom St. Both Home St. and Iroquois St. intersections remain open, and the Lillooet and Coteau St. intersections are closed. The Elsom St. intersection will remain open. This closure impacts southbound truck routes to Highway 2. Southbound truck traffic is being detoured to 9th Ave SW so that Highway 2 can be accessed from Highway 363. Please note that this includes all delivery and truck traffic, detours are currently in place to help guide traffic back towards 9th Ave SW.

Effective June 15, water main replacement construction was completed on Saskatchewan St. E from Main St. to 3rd NE. 475m of pvc water line was installed, and 420m of road was rebuilt and paved.

Other locations selected for water main replacement in 2022 are:
- Athabasca St E from 2nd Ave NE to 3rd Ave NE
- 2 nd Ave NE Athabasca St. E to Hochelaga St. E
- Grandview St. E from Main St. S to 1st Ave SE

The city will continue to issue weekly water main construction updates on their website and through the City of Moose Jaw app.
