Looking to find out what to do in the coming months? You can look no further than the City of Moose Jaw’s fall and winter recreation guide.

The city launched the publication on Thursday outlining the programming being put on by the city from September until the end of the year.

“Our most popular program for the last little while has been swim lessons, so we have a whole swim lessons schedule out. We've added some Friday night classes and Sunday evening classes just to meet the demand as people are catching up on their swimming lessons,” explained city recreation services manager Scott Osmachenko.

Some of the programs listed in the guide include:

  • Fall & Winter 2022 Community Recreation, Swim, Fitness and Yara Centre Programs
  • Indoor Skating Schedule
  • Free Programs Schedule
  • Moose Jaw Musuem and Art Gallery Programs
  • Moose Jaw Public Library Programs

Osmachenko said they are also excited to be welcoming back community programs that take place at local schools.

“We have our Taekwondo classes, basketball classes, indoor pickleball when it gets kind of a little bit colder outside and a bunch of other fun things like cupcake decorating and all kinds of different programs in there,” he said.

Registration for the programs can be found on the City of Moose Jaw website or the City of Moose Jaw app.
