The Moose Jaw and District Chamber of Commerce has postponed several of their events in the near future.

They said in a release they are following the advice of health experts who are advising against events and gatherings.

This includes cancelling the finance minister's luncheon that was scheduled for Thursday.

Other events, like the MJBEX awards that were scheduled for April 8 and the Administrative Professionals' luncheon April 22 are postponed until further notice.

A release from Chamber CEO Rob Clark said that above all, they need to stay positive.

The release said that businesses will be seeing their cash registers slowing and as the Voice of Business, we must remind people that as with all big economic storms, this too shall pass.
