The toys kind of trickled into the toy box on Thursday and then that night the U-15 AA Warriors hockey club went on a $750 shopping spree and donated it all to Toy Days.  We were on our way.

Our 8th annual Toy Days at Canadian Tire was the best ever.  You helped us set a record as we collected 432 toys and games, topping last year's total of 404.  The Salvation Army now has more than enough to make sure all local and local area children will get a gift this Christmas.

Day three, Saturday, was extra special.  Shiny, happy people made dozens of donations.

A guy named Reg shows up every year with one toy for a boy and another for a girl.

My friend Larry dropped off a Spider Man snow shovel.  He told me his grandson loves his.

Another friend, Lori, bought a Go Go Smart Wheels - Super Charged Monster Truck Rally with Platform Launcher!  One lucky kid will have endless fun with that thing.

Oh, and Leroy and Leroy showed up, went shopping, and donated over $1000.00 worth of toys because, "There's always something to do!"

Time to give credit where credit is due and today it's a special thanks to you!

Together, we're making a difference and looking after each other all in the spirit of the season.

Thank you.
