I believe he's in all the halls of fame he's eligible for now.

Moose Jaw's Justin Abdou was inducted to the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame on the weekend.

The talented wrestler is a 9- time Canadian champ, the Cadet world champion in '87, a gold medalist at the '94 Commonwealth Games and, you may remember, he competed for Canada at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

Abdou is also a member of the Canadian Wrestling Hall of Fame, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics hall and the Moose Jaw & District Sports Hall of Fame.

What some people don't know is that Justin Abdou excelled at other sports.  He was a dominant football player in high school and he played hockey through his teens, drawing the attention of a number of Western Hockey League clubs.

I believe he could have played football professionally if he had chosen to do so.

Another thing some people might not know - Justin Abdou isn't just a hall of fame wrestler.  He's a hall of fame human being.
