It was one of those games that are often referred to a "nothing game".  The playoff positioning was all set so the points in the standings didn't mean much.

In fact, our hometown Warriors rested a couple of key players to make sure they're in good shape for the Western Hockey League playoffs which begin later this week.

However, Saturday night's game between the Warriors and Saskatoon Blades will likely be remembered forever by the Calvert brothers.

19-year-old Atley Calvert, in his 4th season with Moose Jaw, scored two goals, including his 40th of the season, to lead his team.  Atley added as assist.  He was in on all three Warrior goals.

Atley's little brother, 17-year-old Rowan, in his second season with the Blades, stole big brother's thunder.  Rowan's 4th goal of the season in the 2nd period proved to be the winning goal in the Blades' 6-3 win.

You know, as a Warriors fan, if they lose, I usually feel it.  It's that losing feeling.  I don't like it.  But, as I left the rink Saturday night, I realized I felt good about what was a most remarkable night for two Moose Jaw-born-and-raised hockey players - Atley and Rowan Calvert.
