A pair passing through Moose Jaw in a stolen car made their first court appearance Wednesday after being arrested near Caronport Tuesday.

They won't remember Moose Jaw as the Friendly City.

22 year old Matthew McLean and a 17 year old female young offender, both from Calgary, made an appearance in Moose Jaw Provincial Court Wednesday.

They were in police custody after being pulled over near Caronport Tuesday. McLean was driving a stolen 1985 Honda Accord, he filled up the vehicle with gasoline in Chaplin, and then drove off without paying.

McLean pleaded guilty to a total of three charges including possession of stolen property, theft of gasoline, and a breach of probation. McLean received fines totaling $1,030.

The 17-year-old youth was granted an absolute discharge on a breach of undertaking charge.
