Joseph-Armand Bombardier was born April 16th, 1907 and would go on to help change the world with the invention of the snowmobile and help to expand the use of trains and airplanes around the globe.

Joseph-Armand Bombardier was born 100 years ago and would later go on to invent the snowmobile that would change the way rural families coped with the winter months in Canada. Later in life he would expand his company to include trains and airplanes around the world.

Most recently the company that he founded started a new operation at 15 Wing Moose Jaw that provides support and service to the NFTC Training Program. The company is a major employer of local residents and a major contributor to local events and charities.
