The Agriculture Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) have come together in Yorkton for their mid-term meetings.

President Ken McBride filled us in on the topics on the agenda.

"One of the things we need to talk about a little more is our bio fuels strategy...obviously, it's extremely important to Saskatchewan and to the entire country," McBridge said.

"Also, BSE...another case of that...but that is part of the surveillance process that has been put in place to ensure the safety of food and, obviously, the more we're testing, it's possible that we may find some more," McBride said.

APAS meetings continue through Thursday.
