Environment Canada is confirming a tornado from Tuesday night's storm that moved through the southwest, narrowly missing us here in Moose Jaw.

There were some reports of funnel clouds in the southwest corner of the province with four tornadoes now being confirmed. Weather officials say one was spotted near Golden Prairie, a second northeast of Val Marie and then two down in the Wood Mountain region, southwest of Moose Jaw. So far there are no reports of damage. The system then travelled towards Moose Jaw, sliding just south of the city but we still saw some intense lightning, high winds with a bit of rain.

Environment Canada has also confirmed two tornadoes from Monday's storm, one just northwest of Swift Current described as a landspout then a second near Chaplin around 4pm.
