An Alberta man is now facing 135 charges related to committing mostly rural crime across Western Canada.

Joseph Ronald Palmer, a 52-year old man from Eckville, Alberta, was initially arrested last summer and faced 46 charges at the time.  He's charged with everything from theft and break and enter, to arson and laundering.

Upon more investigation, RCMP have added another 89 charges to the list, bringing the total to 135. 75 of the charges are related to incidents in Saskatchewan, including several that allegedly occurred in the Moose Jaw, Gravelbourg and Craik areas.

Palmer remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court June 16th.
