5 new deaths in relation to COVID-19 have been reported in Saskatchewan.

Along with that, there are 315 new positive cases as well as 417 recoveries.

The south-central zone holds 8 of the new cases, Saskatoon has 72, the northwest zone has 60, Regina has 29, the southeast has 28, central-east has 26, north-central has 25, the far northeast has 20, far northwest has 12, the northeast has 12, southwest has 5, central-west has 2, and 16 of the new cases have pending residence information.

There are now 4295 active cases in the province with 335 people being treated in hospitals.

260 of those people are receiving inpatient care and 75 people are in the ICU.

74% of those patients are unvaccinated.

The 7-day average for new COVID-19 case numbers was 418.
