The Prairieland Youth Leadership Conference handed out a total of $12,000 in scholarships over the weekend.

This year's event included presentations from Saskatchewan's Agriculture YouTuber "Ag with Mady" as well 
as guest speakers Clinton Monchuk and Dorothy Long from Farm and Food Care Saskatchewan. 

The annual conference covered a number of topics from social media storytelling to communications strategies in 
agriculture and effective brainstorming skills. 

Participants were each given a journal to complete their assignments in and were divided into groups to work 
on a group presentation about contemporary agriculture issues.

First place and a $4,500 scholarship was presented to Rayna Yasieniuk of Hafford (Rockin H Multiple 4-H Club), second place and a 
$3,000 was awarded to Emma Brost of Tompkins (Maple Creek Multiple 4-H Club), third place and a $2,500 scholarship was presented to 
Katherine Possberg of Humboldt (Viscount 4-H Club), while fourth and fifth place winners receive a $1,000 scholarship - this year's winners
are Jana Rumpel of Craven (Longlaketon Multiple 4-H Club) and Amber MacDonald of Invermay (Kelvington 4-H Beef Club).
