The CWB’s Market Research Services Department Producer Crop Tour takes place tomorrow.

Producers will travel about 400 to 500 kilometres a day in an effort to make between 8 to 10 field stops per day.

The CWB’s Neil Townsend says the tour is broken out into 3 sections with one group leaving from Winnipeg, one from Saskatoon and one from Calgary.

The Winnipeg group looks at spring wheat, canola and soybeans from Winnipeg to Brandon to Yorkton and Regina, the Saskatoon group looks at spring wheat and canola, barley, oats etc from Ssaskatoon to Lloydminster to Provost and Regina while the third group goes from Calgary to Lethbridge, Swift Current and into Regina looking at durum, spring wheat and canola.

The tour leaves tomorrow and wraps up in Regina Friday morning with a seminar at the Queensbury Convention Centre at Evraz Place.
