At 2nd annual "Win the Bin" event held at the Ag and Ex in Swift Current on June 9th:

Michael Klink is a farmer and rancher south of the SWT grain terminal near Gull Lake.

"We mostly grow oats, but cattle ranching is mainly what we do - we raise black angus cattle."

The southwest resident had the following to say after the win.

"Well I said there's got to be a good first time for everything - usually I don't win any of these kinds of things, but it definitely worked out well," he said. "We're very appreciative and want to thank everybody that participated in this event."

The latest addition to Klink's farmyard will be his 6th bin - and addition he calls a large need for his farm.

The bin was supplied by Russ Jewitt, CORR Grain Systems' Sales Manager for southwest Saskatchewan. Jewitt was happy that a familiar face to him was able to walk away with the top prize.

"It made me feel really good, because I've known Mike my whole life; He married a girl from my hometown."
