Environment Canada has issued a tornado warning for South Central Saskatchewan. Extra care and attention should be exercised in and around the following localities: Moose Jaw, Assiniboia, Pasqua, BushellPark, Pense, Belle Plaine, Stony Beach, Rouleau, Hearne, Briercrest, SpringValley, Cardross, Viceroy, Ormiston, Verwood, Avonlea, Truax, Ogema and Kaysville.

Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.

This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation.

If threatening weather approaches take cover immediately. If you hear a roaring sound or see a funnel cloud, swirling debris near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take shelter immediately.

The tornado warning has been lifted off of Moose Jaw, Assiniboia, and all other locales. Residents are still directed to watch out for severe thunderstorms and take cover immediately in threatening weather approaches.
