The Moose Jaw Miller Express were filling up the scoreboard on Wednesday night as they rolled to a 17-2 win over the Melville Millionaires at Pirie Field.

One night after being held to just two hits in a shutout loss to Swift Current, the Millers swatted 18 hits on their way to a season-high 17-run output.

Geordie McDougall led the charge offensively for Moose Jaw, finishing 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, three runs scored and five RBI.

McDougall actually opened the scoring with an RBI-single in the first inning, he hit a two-run bomb in the third and then cashed in two more runs during Moose Jaw's seven-run seventh inning which blew an already-lopsided game wide open.

Darrell Doll was 2-for-6 with two doubles, two runs and three RBI in the win, Blake Gallagher, Cole Warken and Tucker Zdunich also registered doubles in the win.

Eric Marriott drove in two runs, Dougie DelaCruz finished with two RBI and Devon Farrell also drove in a pair.

On the mound, Jeff Nicolosi cruised with massive run support. He allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out two over seven innings.

Jaden Hofmann and Jack Gamba each gave up one hit over scoreless eighth and ninth innings, respectively. Gamba had one strikeout.

The Millers are now 11-10 this season in the Western Canadian Baseball League. They return to Ross Wells Park on Thursday night to host the Swift Current 57s, first pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
