The Moose Jaw Miller Express took out their frustrations on the Weyburn Beavers pitching last night and won 12-3 at Ross Wells Park.

A good night at-bat as the team pounded out 14 hits in the game, including 12 earned runs off of three Weyburn pitchers.

The bullpen threw four innings of work and only allowed two hits, with no runs while striking out four.

The Millers are scheduled to square off against the Regina Red Sox Wednesday night.

Exciting news for alumni

A former member of the Moose Jaw Miller Express has been named a manager in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Louis Boyd, at 25, has been named manager for the Everett AquaSox, just two years after he was drafted by the Mariners.

He played 11 games at shortstop in 2016 for the Miller Express.
